Information for TPE Families Regarding COVID-19

We understand that with every changing news report and the continued spread of the COVID-19 virus, there are many questions on our minds. True Potential Education wants you to know that we are focused and will remain diligent in protecting the health and safety of our clients and staff. While we begin to resume some services within the office on a very limited basis we want you to know that we are monitoring this situation closely, and we will continue to do so and to adjust and improve our processes as guidelines are disseminated from state and federal officials as well as small-business professionals.

As We Begin to Resume Face-to-Face Sessions

STEP #1

  • Read and review our COVID-19 precautions to keep abreast of the practices and procedures that True Potential Education has in place to promote a safe and healthy environment.
  • Continue to access this list of signs and symptoms prior to attending each session.

STEP #2

  • Prior to commencing with any in-person sessions, parents and guardians will be required to sign a hard copy acknowledgement that they have reviewed and understand the information listed in our COVID-19 precautions, as well as an acknowledgement of risk when attending appointments in a public environment of any type.

 

Virtual Services Remain

True Potential Education has been a proud provider of virtual learning services, since 2016. Due to the spread of COVID-19 in March, we made the decision to transition all students and staff to a virtual learning format. It is likely that a large portion of our business will remain online for the foreseeable future as we slowly open our doors and put social distancing procedures in place.  

New and current families may reach us by phone or email during regular business hours. Virtual tutoring sessions, dyslexia screens, and speech services are available. 

COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

As with the transmission of any communicable disease like a cold or the flu, you may be exposed to COVID-19, also known as "Coronavirus," at any time or in any place. Be assured that we are following state and federal recommended procedures to limit transmission of all diseases in our office and will continue to do so.

Symptoms of coronavirus are reported as flu-like, with varying degrees of severity. While we do not know everything about this virus to date, individuals who are elderly and/or immunocompromised appear to be the most at risk of a severe infection. As we begin to resume face-to-face sessions, please continue to access this list of signs and symptoms here.

Despite our careful attention to safety measures there is still a chance that you or your child could be exposed to an illness in our office, just as you might be at your gym, grocery store, or favorite restaurant. "Social Distancing" nationwide has reduced the transmission of the Coronavirus.
