Dyslexia Advocacy Day is organized by our local Decoding Dyslexia Iowa (DDIA) chapter. As one of the founding members, Dawn Philbin continues to send members of the True Potential Education team to the Iowa State Capital to join parents and students from across the state to talk to legislators about the recommendations of Iowa's Dyslexia Task Force.
Dyslexia awareness in Iowa continues to grow thanks to countless volunteer hours from our community.

Community Partnership
Waukee Aspiring Professional Experience (APEX) draws on the expertise of business partners to bring real-world experience to high school. Through passion-based learning, authentic projects, and experiences, students add value to business partners while exploring career possibilities. TPE is proud to partner with students from the Waukee APEX program.
